How to get more alliance participation.

We have already discussed having a reward for top posters. but i think people are getting scared off by the insanely high number of posts some of us have put up. my suggestion is to send resources to anyone who improve the number of posts they have put up by at least 10% until they hit 100 posts, then the percentage necessity would decrease.

Erm, I don't know If anyone has noticed this, but this Forum seems to have, well died. No one posts any more. Is there a reason why?

No idea, I have been a little bit behind lately but I am on vacation with my family so I am crazy busy with things around the house. Anyway, guys the easiest thing to understand is 'More members = more posts'' More Alliance activity = more active players'.
Anyone has any good idea how to get things spinning more socially?
I can offer for the time (because you are unable to spend all of your day on OGame) to invite you guys to any Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, Tribes Ascend session im in. Another thing I would suggest starting using a communicator i.e. something called Xfire (xfire.com) so we can all know when we are online (my Xfire profile eskel21 or Eskel21 vel Hummer) anyone is more than welcome. Very good thing just read about it download and enjoy! Lots of great features. For now that is all guys! MTFBWY!

yeah, there has been less activity. ever since i started uni 35, i haven't concentrated on mizar a lot. therefore i dont come to the forum too much and aang cant find someone to brainstorm with, whereas lc spartan cant talk to me, which he did a lot when i was active, lol.

I would suggest some form of official website. with a live chat and possibly even setting up an update page, so if someone new joins the alliance, it can be found in a recent update place (rss feed maybe) or someone gets promoted. Just a website that people can find more about its members, the background to the alliance, and just stay connected all together. If you like the idea, please feel free to feedback.

thats a good idea, and i think a lot of people have just gone on vacation.

At the moment sadly, S3 is not getting new members and people are leaving due to them being inactive or the alliance has become dead/inactive so
It is shrinking fast.

Before you can get alliance partication, you first need online players. Start messaging people in your universe system who are not in an alliance, if everyone did that, then just start expanding that way. Another idea would be a weekly competition, the member who has gone up most points recieves a bonus of resources or something of that nature. Maybe even have a monthly thing for the top ranked members. Once the alliance has activity from members, then can expand online.

Ok I am going to start trying to do that more.

And littlestead there are no actual requirements but its more just do you have a strong fleet and are you willing to attack people.
